What is the largest Building

I generally grid out my zones as 4x4 blocks or a multiple
there of (IE 4x8 or 8x8). I'm not sure why I do this,
maybe a hold over from the toutorial game.

In any case I was wondering what is the largest building
I can expect to see. I know that some medium com. buildings
are 3x3. And many Dense Com buildings are 3x3. But are
there Dense Com buildings that are 4x4???
What about the largest Dense Residential???

The biggest buildings are usually 4x4 for all three zones in SimCity
3000. In SimCity 2000 it was 3x3, and i have no clue for SimCity 4.

Most 4x4s appear in dense zone, with a few in medium zone.

I don't think there are any 5x5 zoned buildings, although some other
buildings are 5x5.

If you surround the zone entirely with road, you can have 6x12, 8x8,
5x3, whatever you like.

Right.

WHat I did in my last city was to zone out the CBD as a large
block of 3x3 medium and dense commercial zones. Each 3x3 zone
was surounded by a road. So on my latest city I'm doing the same
thing. But if what you say is true, then I better switch my
zoning scheam to be blocks of 4x4 zones. Should be easy since
I am using 11x19 super blocks.
